I hope Kristy writes all the DND RomComs always and forever. I fell in love with Dungeons and Drama and this book was no different! Well, the story was different but my love for it wasn't at all.
Quinn and her family moved to be closer to her grandma and because of a falling out with her old DND group. Quinn's amazing grandmother bothered kids for a first day of school photo and of course, they were into DND. And then the story continues - Quinn and Logan hit it off but when Quinn is invited to join their new session of DND, Logan does a complete 180 and is cold towards her. And why? Because the group has a rule of no dating each other.
So not only do we get all of the nerdy DND playing but also all the slow burn angst and I was here for every moment of it. The plot was so much fun and not too cringy. I loved the dynamic of the group and how they interacted with each other. This book had me laughing out loud at moments and second hand embarrassment during others.
Dating and Dragons by Kristy Boyce was a huge success for me. I love that this story was different from the first but still so wholesome. It was so much fun to read and I loved the characters. If you were a fan of the first book, or didn't even read it but love DND - please read this book!
AUDIO REVIEW
I loved it!! It was so much fun and so well done. If you like audiobooks I highly recommend listening to it.
