Review Detail

What I liked: I really enjoyed the hauntingly beautiful love story here. I've always loved the idea of fate and how everything happens for a reason, and this book does a wonderful job with that. Veronica is easily and quickly taken with the Doon world, while Mackenna is a bit skeptical, which I loved. I enjoyed their friendship and how they were always there for one another, even when Veronica thought she was going crazy!

What left me wanting more: I thought the story flowed really well, though towards the end it seemed that everything started happening too quickly. It all felt a bit rushed. I still enjoyed the ending though, even if it was really predictable. All in all a fun read with a beautiful setting!
