DUCK, DUCK, DINOSAUR is such a cute book about mama Duck’s family and growing up. Her three children, two ducks Feather and Flap and a dinosaur Spike are getting too big for the nest and will have to find their own place to nest soon. While trying out different places to nest they hear a terrible noise, causing them to leave every place they find quickly.

One of my favorite things about children’s books is the illustrations. DUCK, DUCK, DINOSAUR was filled with beautiful illustrations. The way that Oriol used the space on each page was amazing. Every picture was filled to the brim with beautiful detail. It really made this story come to life.

Overall this book was adorable from start to finish. I loved that the Feather, Flap, and Spike all wanted to stay together and the hilarious finish to this book. I loved reading this to my nephew who absolutely loves dinosaurs. This book is just such a cute and funny read that any kid who picks it up will enjoy it immensely.
