I had never read a Fae book where the person was committed to having the Sight. Typically, The family keeps it quiet for that exact reason, so that was a nice twist. It made the reality of the situation much more realistic because Brea had to keep reminding herself she isn't crazy. I appreciate that she has to do all of this while navigating a new realm. I think I still like Griff more than Loch in terms of people I would have gone with in the beginning, but I'm curious to see Brea's relationship with both brothers continue in the series. This book also has a great lesson about appearances being superficial. I'm excited to see what happens next in Brea's story. My only regret is that I kept reading other books before finishing it because once you start you won't be able to put it down!
Good Points
This book has an interesting twist to the world of the Fae. I love the modern references to popular television and earth media.
I love the duality between Griff and Loch. This book has plenty of twists and intrigue to keep the reader on the edge of their seat.
