I recommend this book to all teens. It is a book by a British author and has some lingo that is good to be exposed too. The book itself is in a series of 4 books and I read all 4 in less than a week. They are hard to put down. No bad language or inappropriet material. If you are looking to get a gift for some teen, this books is a good idea. You could give it to anyone I would say 11+. Very good book!

This book made me laugh so hard!! I love reading english books because of their humor and the words they use for things. It is unexpected that the girl in this story falls for her best friend, but it turns out that they are perfect together.If you like a book of laughs read this book, and its sequel!

Girl, 15 charming but insane by Sue Limb is about Jess Jordan, who's just an average teenage going though everyday lifeat highschool. With all the embarassment and boy troubles.
The book was a good, fun read with lots of funny parts. It was very easy to relate to, and I highly recommend it, along with 'Girl,nearly 16, absolute torture'.

Jess has just had a horrible day, which involved a guy sticking his tongue in her mouth and the guy she has had a crush on, Ben, to see her at her worst. Jess just wants to get home to her room, her one true place of sanctuary, when her mom tells her that their granny is coming to live with them. Jess is all up for it, she loves her granny. Then her mom tells her that she has to give up her room. No! Jess loves her room now she's being forced to live in the tiny box room up stairs. I thought this book was hilarious and fun to read. I recommend this book but be prepared to feel the frustration of a 15-year-old teenager when life is unfair. Sue Limb new book, Girl,16 Pants on Fire, will be out soon.

Of course by the title, you think your gonna be reading about a lunatic running in the streets doing something really, well yes insane. But no it isn't, it's about a girl, how she handles her problems, good or bad, you could say! Of course, it starts off different.

Why of course who would not go to the best party of the school year?? Of course you going to go!! She goes to this function, but of course she wants to make her chest bigger so, she decides to make soup and put it in so-called water ballons. When dancing, of course the soup will..you could imagne right? So of course it's a one way ticket to the bathroom for her! She fixes herself and talkes to her chest, and complains why they arn't bigger. After the party is over, and the next day creeps by, one of the guys who was hosting the party decided to put a video camera in the ladies washroom. Well of course she is fresking out, she knows she gonna be called a freak talking to her chest!!

What will happen next?? Will she survive the "making fun of" in the hallway part?

This book stands out for having a more realistic tone than many YA books on the market. Jess is easy to identify with unlike the Gossip Girl characters or the Clique ones. Also, her parents are very realistic with the funny and well-written feminist mother and the immature father who isn't exactly someone she can count on.

The most painful part of the book (funny yes, gut-wrenching, oh yeah) is the bathroom scene where there's a camera in there while she's topless. I was dying for her! It does get resolved, but I was literally sweating as I read.

The relationships with boys in the book are also very realistic-the one you fantasize about and get a chance with, but nothing happens and the friend who suddenly wants to be more even though you still see him as a buddy.

This is a fun read that takes you into the home and puts you right into the story.

Jess Jordan has had a crush on Ben Jones for a long time, and it seems like something might finally happen because her best friend, Flora, is going out with his best friend, Mackenzie. Jesss mom, a feminist, is somewhat appalled that Jess is even thinking of having a boyfriend while she has to deal with the fact that even though Flora is taken, that Ben might actually have a crush on her. She also has to deal with her other close friend, Fred, who she had a fight with. Things dont help when her granny comes to live with her. Soon, it seems like everything is out of hand and its up to Jess to patch things up.

I thought that this was a really cute book. I didnt know what to expect when I first got it. But once I started reading this, I couldnt put this down. The ending was a bit predicable, but also surprising at the same time. Im glad that this is part of a trilogy. If you like the Georgia Nicolson books, then youll like this one.
