In the third book of the Gossip Girls series, some big changes have happened (and many more will also occur by the end of the book).
Serena and Blair are back to being the best of friends. Nate is dating the extremely buxom Jenny (though he barely knows it, since he's high all the time). Dan and Vanessa are going hot and heavy, but Dan's not quite ready for how heavy they are going, and Serena's being courted by a famous musician.
There's lots more, of course -- from Blair's new stepbrother being infatuated with her, to Dan's burgeoning poetry skills, to...well, I'm not going to give you hints of everything.
Fans of the series will definitely eat this one up. Blair shows a human side, as does Dan. Jenny finally develops a bit of backbone, and Serena seems almost like a nymph caught wandering among humans, never quite paying attention.
Recommended for ages 14 and up.
