You've read all of the other Harry Potter books. You enjoy them all, you learn to love the characters, and then comes along Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which in my opinion should be referred to as Harry Potter and the Book of Eternal Sin. J.K. Rowling takes a wonderful series, and turns the last book into a murder spree.

Most of her main character dies, or act like Jesus, and the epilogue is definitely a laugh when you see some of the names. Seriously, where did they get their baby naming books? Either way, a perfectly good series was ruined with the last book added.

You spend half of your time out in the woods, reading more about the fighting between comrades than what is actually going on. I don't know what Rowling was thinking about, but apparently she wasn't thinking all that much when she wrote the final installment of her hit series.

This book was magnificent. It completely exceeded my expectations. And now I am trying to find the right words to explain why I loved this book so much. I think that for every book there are going to be people who hate it, and those who love it. And with each and every Harry Potter book, I was in the category of people who loved it. Why?.. you ask...

For me and my personality, and my own imagination this book is perfect. I'm not saying its the perfect book for everybody, but for me, it is. From my point of view this is the ultimate book. It has great writing and amazing characters. It focuses on magic and fantastical beasts but it also has a great deal about a coming of age story. There is romance and adventure, laughter and heartbreak, and so many other plot lines and ideas mixed in. This book is one of a few where when I read it, I can actually tune out the rest of the world. I am not aware of me actually reading a book turning the pages, I am aware of what is going on in the story.

This is the type of book that I actually get excited about rereading. Just the thought and the reassurance that there is a book of this caliber out there waiting to be read over and over again makes me feel warm and fuzzy. This book is great... and for the people who say that is was horrible and J.K. Rowling was just trying to lengthen the plot, I just don't agree. I am not saying your wrong. All I am saying is that for me there is not one point in the book where I feel bored or that the book is moving too slow. That is why this is such a masterpiece. Because the mark of the great book is the amount of people that really love it the way I do. There will always be people who don't. But this book manages to take so many readers away from reality into the awesome life of Harry Potter that it instantly deserves to become one of the greats.

I am glad that this book exists for the sole fact that it is there for me when I need a good book to read. It doesn't get old, it never bores, and every time I read it there is something new I didn't catch before. If you haven't read this book I suggest you do because if there is even the slightest chance that you might be one of the thousands of people who love this book the way I do... you deserve to read this story for yourself.

By far one of the larger books in this series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" explores the journey of Harry, Ron, and Hermione to destroy the Horcruxes that Lord Voldemort is seeking to restore himself to his former evil glory.  (How's that for long winded?)  If they succeed, the both the wizarding world and our own will be safe (for now); if they fail....one can only imagine.  The entire cast of characters you have come to love play a part in this final installment of a modern day classic.  Hagrid seeks out assistance from the giants before darkness aligns with them.  Neville steps up and accepts that he is better than others have been him feel in the past, much to a grateful Harry (read the book, you'll see!).  Even Draco and his family make an appearance and....well even if I would tell you here and spoil the surprise, you'd never believe me!

Definitely recommended for fans of the series....you've read the rest, now read the last!  Happy reading!

the book harry potter and the chamber of secrets was an excelent read for me and and my girlfriend. I liked the fact that in the beginning of the book that it dosent stray to far from how the first one left off and starts up pretty much the same at his uncles and auts house with his half wit cousin. I also like d the fact that in the book the action and drama and the scene of a wizard in a wizard school picture all stayed the same and never left unless there was another point of view, the action in the book was really good it was all through out the book and not just in one area they give a good description of what all enimies and friends and creatures look like i also like that at then end of the book they didnt try to over power the ending with some type of farfetcheed idea the kept it smooth

This book was absolutely amazing and matched my standards. I was in tears by the end of this book, and not only because of the many shocking deaths. I was also upset that the series had ended. The book also showed, once again, the brilliance of a strong friendship (Harry, Ron, and Hermione). This book was definitly worth the 3 hour wait in line at chapters at midnight at the release party!

The last book of the series, this book just blew me away. The way it was writen the characters the plot, everything about this book i loved. This book made harry seem a little bit more vulnarable, this book has it's good and bad, it has a little romance between characters and in the End it tells you what happens to them. I'm pretty sad that the series ended because these books are really good.

Dear Readers,

The Harry Potter books are going to be missed very much.  It was a sad ending. But hopefully the author will write more books that will be as amazing as these were.

I love the ending. I didnt know that him and Ron's sister would get married though. I was amazed that the author wrote about Draco and his family in the end.

Good book! I Loved it !

      Sincerly,
                 Meg

With Dumbledore's death, Snape has become Headmaster of Hogwarts.  Since Harry and Dumbledore didnt finish destroying the hortexes, Harry joined with Hermione and Ron, and they set out to finish the job.  With Deatheaters (Voldomort's followers) everywhere, they are in danger of getting caught.  In Dumbledores Will, he leaves something for Harry, Hermione and Ron.  Hermione gets an old book full of wizard tales with a weird marking on it.  Ron gets an invention made by Dumbledore that can give light or take light away.  Harry gets the first Snitch he caught/almost swallowed and inside is one of the defective hortexes.  Along with the Snitch Dumbledore gives him Godric Gryffindors Sword but since it  belongs to Hogwarts he cant have it, the sword has to stay at the school.  They get 6 of the 7 hortexes destroyed.  But what is the last hortex?  Will they destroy them in time?  What will happen to the famous Harry Potter?
