Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone is the story of Harry Potter a boy who lives with and is treated like a whipping boy by his aunt Petunia, uncle Verson and their son Dudly for ten years. Before his eleventh birthday Harry get a series of letters that are destroyed by his uncle, but the letters still come resulting in his uncle taking the whole family away from their home. But on the night of his eleventh birthday Hagrid comes and tells Harry what the Dursleys have kept from him. Which is that Harry is a wizard and has been accepted to attend Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry, the place where he meets new friends, and enemies...

When i first read this book it was after the movie came out in 2001, this book was filled with so much magic that after i read it i thought i could cast spells like the characters. When i finished reading this book i was a little sad because it was like saying bye to your friend when the school year was over, but when i found out there was another i was happy. This book is amazing, and i recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it before especially children because it's filled with magic, and all the things kids enjoy.
