I just finished rereading Jellicoe Road for about the fourth time, this past week, and I can only say that each and every time I read it, I fall in love with it all over again.

Jellicoe Road is the story of Taylor Markham, a girl who was abandoned at age 11 by her mother, but its so much more than that. Its the story of a war (between the townies, cadets, and boarding school students). It's the story of five children, brought together by loss, and the mystery of their true identities. It's a story of love, and forgiveness, and its a story that reveals something new at every step.

The characters are so real, and brilliant. You want to love all of them, every one of their screwed up selves.

Seriously, if you haven't read a Melina Marchetta book, you have been missing out. This book is life changing, and its a tale that will grip your heart and never let go.
