"Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life" by Wendy Mass is a great book for boys and girls.  This book is a story of a dreadful summer, and how it takes an unexpected turn.  Jeremy Fink chooses to stay inside his apartment, and will only venture out up to four blocks away.  In a week Jeremy will turn fourteen, and his adventure begins when a box shows up with his name on it.  Inside is a beautiful box and a note.  The note tells him that he can open the box on his birthday.  Jeremy is excited, but that excitement quickly ends when he sees four locks, but only three keys.  Will Jeremy be able to find the fourth key, or will the box remain unopened forever?  I loved this book and couldn't put it down.  It is one book that keeps you wondering throughout.
