Just Try It! is a cute and short read about a child who may have some picky tendencies when it comes to food.

The plot is one most parents can relate to, in one way or another. Lily is refusing to try any new foods while at an amusement park type place. She is presented with fish tacos, everything bagels, linguini with clams, and more! However, she refuses to try any of it, until she inadvertently throws a bit of a temper tantrum and coats her dad in mustard.
Then, Lily decides she's being unfair and tries the food her father was encouraging her to taste, with their rule of Just Try It. To her delight, she likes it... all of it.

The story is fun for children, they can connect with Lily in a variety of ways. Her food truck adventures could encourage other children to just try it, and they may find something new to enjoy.

The illustrations are bright and colorful. The are fun and really pop off the page.

I would recommend Just Try It to anyone with young kids, good eater or not
