La Primera Fiesta De Pijamas de Peppa is a very useful and education read for those who are learning Spanish!
As most people know, languages are generally easiest to learn at a younger age. I have seen firsthand how listening, reading, and practicing Spanish, early on, can really help make it stick with a child. When I first started taking care of two twins who were learning Spanish, I was always shocked to learn how quickly they would pick up the language. However, certain books bore them or frustrate them easily.
This book was different! They instantly loved it! The story was simple, it followed Peppa Pig as she prepared for her first sleepover with all her friends. Even though some parts of the Spanish were unfamiliar to them, Peppa Pig was definitely not and I think this is why they continued to engage with the book.
Everything was very straight forward, easy to follow along, and since a lot of the pictures matched up with what was being said- it was easy for the kids to learn new things and come to the conclusions on their own.
Final thoughts?
Overall a very fun story, something you could always expect from Peppa and her little adventures! It was colorful and bright, and none of the Spanish was too difficult (in my opinion). Highly recommend to all those looking to teach their children Spanish early on, or of course for those who already do speak it!
