I really enjoyed Lailah. It was interesting, mysterious and unpredictable!

I loved how the author, Nikki Kelly described all the places the characters went to like Neylis, France. It sounds so nice and peaceful there! I also liked the idea of an angel trying to help vampires be free of their evil masters.

Lailah was an interesting character to see develop and as she learns to understand more about herself. She is quite independent and doesn't really listen to anyone since she doesn't know what it's like to have a family.

I liked that after awhile Lailah starts to see Gabriel, Jonah, Ruadhan and even Brooke as her family and is willing to die for them.

This is a good novel for fans of fantasy, the paranormal and romance.
