You will love the latest adventures of Zorro and Mister Bud, two very different dogs that bonded over their shared routine in "Say Hello to Zorro!" Their friendship is very realistic: at first, the dogs DO NOT like each other. But they become friends, not through any random magical or happy event, but because they tried. They fought, they bickered, they got jealous of each other, and then they realized that they had things in common. They worked through their differences, bonded over their shared schedule and interests, and maintain a friendship because of it. Now, they're not always the best of friends - sometimes they still fight. Like when Mister Bud has to wear THE CONE.

Mister Bud has an itchy, annoying hot spot; he scratches and chews until the spot is red and raw. His owner puts some ointment on it, and in order to keep Mister Bud from licking off the ointment the infamous cone is brought out.

Mister Bud has so many difficulties with the cone! He can't see to play games with Zorro. He can't eat. He can't even take a proper nap! Zorro, that mischievous little rascal, gets into all kinds of trouble while Mister Bud is preoccupied with the cone. Zorro is so sure that Mister Bud will get blamed for knocking over the lamp and eating an entire box of biscuits.

But when they're owner returns home, Zorro is in for a surprise. Mister Bud has the cone taken off, and then he is given a special biscuit and lots of love and cuddles, while Zorro is definitely blamed for his actions. It's a fun and delightful story.

The artwork is also so, so much fun! Mr. Bud has the most adorable nose, and Zorro has some really entertaining expressions. The dogs talk to each other a little bit, and their thoughts and words are shown in a different type of text from the book's narration. And they are absolutely hilarious. Dog lovers of all ages will really love this story, and it's perfect to share with kids as well.
