Review Detail

I miss my Smallville (on CW). This book takes a lot of the same elements and puts a fresh twist on the King Arthur legend. I liked that it is an urban fantasy with a fresh twist on an old story. The characters are down-to-earth. Powerful, yet vulnerable. The characters and their interactions are what made me want to read on. And I fell in love with the bad-boy villain. He was fantastic. The story is fast-paced (maybe a little too fast-paced) but I couldn't put it down. There's a bit of a cliff-hanger at the end but it's still got a very satisfying finish (the romance leaps forward).
