MY NAP, MI SIESTA is a board book featuring all of the places and ways someone can nap. It teaches Spanish with the English part first followed by Spanish. For example, "With my friends. Con mis amigos." The words are simple enough for early readers to retain and start their journey to learn an alternate language.
The illustrations are the style unique to Mexican culture. This was our first Coco Rocho book, but I certainly see more in our future. My daughter loves learning different words in Spanish so this is a fun way to do it before bed. She also thought it was silly some of the places they napped which brought a smile to her face. I admit I don't mind learning a bit of Spanish myself.
Final Verdict: I would recommend this as a bedtime story for those wanting to learn English to Spanish and for those who enjoy the Mexican style artwork.
