From the stories to the wonderfully creepy illustrations, Norse Myths offers a comprehensive look at all the tales of the gods and goddesses of the often confusing Norse pantheon.
I particularly enjoyed the sections on the gods and goddesses, and the dwarves and giants as well as the gorgeous illustration of Yggdrasill, the tree of life representing the nine realms of Norse Mythology.
This lovely book covers each of the most well known legends of the gods, from the origins of the Allfather to the final battle of Ragnarok.
Beautifully written prose that is easy to understand, the author brings the old Norse tales to life and the illustrations elevate this book to the cream of the crop in terms of similar books on Norse myth.
I would highly recommend this book for school libraries and for all fans of mythology.
