BRIEF SUMMARY
The two main characters, Lennie Smalls, and George Milton have always been best friends. They have shared the dream of a simple life ever since they were small. They have always wanted to live on a farm and raise rabbits. Lennie, unlike his last name (Smalls) was very tall (6 ft. 5in.) He was also mentally challenged. George was the brains of the two, but he wasn't to bright either. The two found a job working on a farm and raising rabbits. They moved to the country, where they would work for little money, food, and shelter. A turn of events bring the story to a dramatic ending.

OPINION
My favorite character is George. I like George because he was Lennie's best friend, even though Lennie was mentally challenged. George liked Lennie for what he was, and was a true friend. My favorite part of this book is at the end when George makes the hardest decision of his life. I like how he thought, and analyzed the situation closely. I liked this book a lot because it was real, and their friendship bond was so strong.

RECOMMENDATIONS
I think this book would be good for young teens, through adults. I think both boys and girls would appreciate this book.
