Review Detail

Oscar the cat is thirsty so he sets off to find help from the cats on the moon. He drinks so much that the only way he can get back to earth is to let out a large burp to propel him back home. The illustrations are colorful and Oscar is adorable but overall I felt something was missing from this story. The rhyming didn't always flow just right for me and I really just wish there would have been more to the story. Some of the vocabulary might be over a young child's head but I think they will enjoy looking at the pictures as you read to them.
