Fun Romp

Format: Amazon Paperback Verified Purchase
Meet Pauline .... she's 24, a recent graduate of Arizona State University. She's bright, bubbly, and just waiting for her chance to be Chief of Police .. somewhere. Having no experience in that area, however, she has chosen to work for the Post Office, even though she really hates the blue uniform.
This is a fun romp, especially when there is a theft at the Post Office and her boss hires a former police detective to work undercover along with Pauline. To her, this is like a new job interview and she might get a new boyfriend at the same time.
I chuckled a lot through this book. Pauline is such a kook but in a very endearing way. She's got a wicked sense of humor that is infectious if nothing else.
The book was enjoyable, refreshing, especially as this is not my normal kind of read.
Many thanks to the author who supplied this book in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
3.5 stars Much better than a 3, but a little less than 4
Plucky Pauline Gets Her Chance

A very promising first novel for teens and young adults. With understanding and humor, L.S. Wagen tells about Pauline, a recent college graduate, who wants a real career and possibly a boyfriend as well. Plucky Pauline helps solve a crime and in the process learns something about herself as well.
