What I liked:
Murder Mystery, Mulsim rep, Malaysian rep, and scrabble competition. The sprinkling of vocabulary words with their definitions used to initiate an investigation into her best friend's murder over a year later is a unique way to draw people into a murder mystery. Set during a weekend Scrabble competition that will be decided who reigns overall, it brings all the potential murderers back to the original crime scene. I was intrigued from the first page to the last I devoured it in two days. It was that good.
Final Verdict:
If you like scrabble, unique character representation, foreign countries, and a murder to solve, this is the perfect combo. It was an ideal palate cleanser between books for me as it is not my go-to genre, and it was nice to have a different type of reading on the deck.
