Kat comes from a long line of Katrinas in Sleepy Hollow and with the name also comes the stories of the Headless Horseman. Though Kat doesn't believe in the stories, it soon becomes apparent that more is going on than she realized. As she befriends the new girl in town, Isadora, Kat struggles with her feelings for her. Together they try to uncover the mystery of the Headless Horseman

What I Loved
How the past and present came together and the parallels drawn between Kat and the original Katrina. The relationship between Kat and Isadora was well written and they were so much better for each other than Kat and Blake.

What Left Me Wanting More

Despite the ages of the characters, I felt this was aimed at a slightly younger audience.

Final Verdict

While I wanted a little more from the characters, it did deal with some interesting themes including gaslighting between Kat and her boyfriend and how it can affect someone. The Headless Horseman came in second to most of the story, but it was a well written story that was enjoyable to read.
Good Points
A new perspective on an old tale
The LGBTQ relationship
The past and the present colliding
