Adorable, fun, easy-to-read. There are many good things to say about Ruby Rose Off to School She Goes.
Kids love to dance - at least all of the ones I've known have. They love to dance and they love to read so this is the perfect book for them. Ruby wants nothing more than to dance. She can't fathom that there isn't any time in school to do just that so she makes time. She dances during activities or on the way to activities. Each time, she's told to stop. It doesn't faze her - even when she knocks over the class ant farm. She keeps a smile on her face and a beat in her feet.
There wasn't anything not to like about this story or the pictures that accompany it. It's appropriate for any child over the age of one - and especially ideal for that 2-3 range.
A flawlessly fun story that can put a smile on a child's face with it's colorful images and descriptive text.
