Wow!! Best vampire book I've read in a while. After Michael meets Elayna their lives are woven together by a tragic tapestry of events. The story follows Elayna from youth to adulthood and begins with a chance encounter that establishes a life-long relationship between her and Michael as he struggles to maintain his sanctity against his bitter affliction.

This book has elements that reminded me at times of Let the Right One in and Twilight. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the genre.
