What I Liked:

This book is told from Jo’s POV as she makes a wish and something she never expected happens. Jo has to learn to accept this new turn her life has taken. The action started immediately with Jo making the wish when she and her friend found themselves in some trouble and she is taken to the Society of Wishes to become a member of the team. We learn about the Society with Jo, and what their place is in the world and how they use time to grant wishes. The side characters were all really good, especially Snow. He is so mysterious and I am really curious to learn some of his secrets. The romance is slow burn.

What I Didn’t Like:
The Society of Wishes was a little confusing at first. It was a little hard to grasp how the magic worked and what needed to be sacrificed for each wish, but it was definitely unique and entertaining. Even though the world building was a little complicated, it was very good and complex.

The Final Verdict:
This was a very unique book and the plot was engaging. It was fast paced, action packed and will keep you guessing.
