Somewhere in Between is a fun story about meeting in the middle with friends. The illustrative style is perfect for fans of anime with the cartoonish characters and whimsical world. Pink likes both Fireballs and Snowballs Land but they don’t get along until they meet her on neutral ground. While this is a fun story with lots of imagination it also hits on themes of friendship and meeting in the middle to resolve conflict. Young children can play perfectly well with one other person but sometimes three is a crowd and navigating the jealousy to reach a place where everyone is happy can be tricky.
