Sorceress, the sequel to Witch Child, continues the "adventures" of Mary Newbury, a fourteen-year-old living in the late 1600's who flees England to escape the fate that met her grandmother for being accused as a witch.
Sorceress tells what happens to Mary after she escapes from Beulah through her descendant, Agnes's "visions". She joins Jaybird's Indian tribe, but is soon torn apart from them when the wars between the Englis and Indians reaches them (possibly the French & Indian War, but I'm not sure).
Full of adventure, war, and sorcery, readers who loved Witch Child will definitely love Sorceress as well.

The really well written companion book to Witch Child. It has three main characters and the switch chapter to chapter. this book is even better than the first. Right from the start I was hooked. You'll love it.
