I was excited to get Elizabeth Eulberg's newest book, Take a Bow. I loved Prom and Prejudice, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on her latest book. Once I opened this book up, I couldn't put it down. Elizabeth Eulberg has such a fresh voice. Her characters seem so real, and I think I can pick out someone in my life that matches each one in this book.

As someone who not only studied music but taught it, I love books that capture the emotional aspect of being a musician or any type of performer. Music and performing is all about emotion. There are highs and lows, competition, and selfishness all of which Ms. Eulberg manages to convey through her characters. I loved that she chose to write from four different points of view. I think that makes the book so special...we see four different perspectives of chasing the same dream.

I can't get over how well-rounded this book was. It would have been a completely different book had we read entirely from Sophie or Emme's point of view. I loved Carter and Ethan's characters just as much. Ms. Eulberg really succeeded showing the teenage boy point of view in a real way. Sometimes, it is hard for me to read from a male point of view but in this case I found the transitions seamless.

I cannot recommend this book enough.
