Jen Greenly goes to Clayton High School. Shes dubbed the unofficial school psychologist. Jen has been given the most secretive position on her schools newspaper, the Ask Annie column. Jen is the one person who all the students and teachers like, so when Luke Striker, the hottest male actor, has come to Clayton High as an undercover transfer student, Jen is the only student in on the secret. She is given the position to take Luke around and make sure that no one finds out his real identity. Which is quite hard for Jen, because her best friend Trina is in love with Luke.

Luke is completely different from what Jen expected. He is a kind, intellectual person, who opens her eyes to help the helpless of Clayton. After witnessing a senior kidnap Betty Ann Mulvaney (a doll who belonged to her Latin teacher) and seeing Cara, an overweight girl made fun of day after day, Jen finally decides to do something about it. Along the way, she makes new friends, stands up for what is right, and figure out that true love is a very special thing. The ordeal of spending time with a famous Hollywood actor made her a better person.

I thought that this book was very cute. I dont know how Meg Cabot creates many different characters, yet we all seem to like each and every one of them for different reasons. Jen is another character that we can all relate to. The story was funny at times but serious at others. I loved the romance in it too. Once I picked this book up, I couldnt stop reading it. This was a great book overall. All Meg Cabot fans (and everyone else) should read it!
