First off, this is the worst title for this book. It implys that it's all about becoming psychic, but actually it's a lot deeper than that. The author describes all kinds of religions and cultural things that deal with mysticism and intuition like the Sufi religion which is a form of mysticism. She also delves into spirit guides and spirit animals. She talks abotu Native american culture and manages to explain a lot of complicated subjects without talking over her readers' heads.
Julie Tallard Johnson also talks about meditation and journaling. She gives great tips on meditating. This is a great book that can be used for beginners who are just getting into the whole intuition thing, but it is also very useful for people who have read up on the subject & want to know more. The info from different cultures was incredibly interesting.
