Although The Da Vinci Code is a very controversial book, it is a fun book filled with suspense, mystery, and adventure, with a very shocking ending. I also learned a lot of interesting facts while reading this book, which just makes the book seem even more realistic. But I don't think people should change their beliefs because of this book, because it's FICTION.

I really enjoyed this book. You leanr a lot of random things while reading these books, random things that keep you wondering for a long time afterward. It was interesting to see a different view point of my religion and learn what others think, and I was compelled to believe some of the things myself. Still, Dan Brown has written better books, in my opinion Angels and Demons was waaay better! Da Vinci Codeis still a very worthhile read though, si I suggest you get to it!

Not only was this book interesting and informative, but it was entirely original and action filled as well. i literally could not put this book down after starting it and learnt a lot from it. also, tied into the historical part of it was a lot of subtle romance and action. very very enjoyable.

The Da Vinci Code is the second Robert Langdon novel by Dan Brown. In this book the curator at the Louve is murdered by an assasin from a radical church group. Robert is once again dragged into the case. The curator left clues throughout the museum and around Europe. Robert and the curators granddaughter team up together to uncover the truth about a centuries old cult which was created on the beliefs that Jesus was human, loved a Mary Magdelon, and had a child. The church covered up all this evidence and destoryed any proof of it because they didnt want Jesus viewed in this way. The secret group protects the power and sanctity of the sacred femenine, which the church has tarnished throughout history.
Many mysteries revolving around these ideas are uncovered and many new contreversal ideas are also proposed.

The book is extremally interesting, especially if your highly relgious.
No matter what your opinion on relgion, God, or the church is you should check out this book right away, it will keep you intreged until the very end.

ok, i thought the da vinci code was alright. definately not my favourite. i liked the code breaking parts. i found the action weak and unfulfilling. there is zero character development and some historical backround parts are very dry. i liked learning about my religion and other possible explanations. the ending is good, but i was still able to put it down with ease.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is an awesome book for the sophisticated reader. It is a murder and "puzzle" mystery. Dan Brown is a mastermind plot builder who creates a tangled web of clues and dead ends for the main character Robert Langdon. Robert must now find the hidden society that protects the Holy Grail... This IS a MUST read! If you've read this book read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown!
