The brotherly bond of five teenage boys is tested when they are exposed to an energy source that heightens their senses. Destined to be pursuers of good, together they begin a journey to maturity as they embrace and fully realize their new-found powers despite looming threat from a vengeful villain. This action-packed page-turner made me feel like I was a part of the boys’ adventure in Sandry Lake and a protector of Danville Heights. One will identify with the characters’ joy, fear, anxiety, pride and a variety of emotions because of the author’s ability to involve the reader into every scene. I highly recommend this to young adults and adults alike!
