The Woman and Her Bear Cub was a cute story that made my children instantly jealous.
It was adorable to see this woman and her daughter take home and raise this seemingly orphaned polar bear cub.
My children loved watching him grow as the story progressed, and were both delighted and sad when he found his mother and had to leave the little girl and her mom.
The illustrations are super cute and done with cool tones, known in the colder regions.
The story is easy enough for children to read with help for the Inuktitut words. The author included a glossary and pronunciation guide at the back for your convenience.
