Some of the illustrations are quite stunning and detailed, and they definitely add to the visual interest of the book as children can look while they listen. Diverse characters and nature scenes add to the beauty.

These are poems that each stand-alone, so the book can be read as a whole or in part, which will work best for older readers who can enjoy it piecemeal. The poetry captures so many topics that it feels quite comprehensive.
