TUMMY TIME: FARM is a cute fold-out board book that is designed for infants. The book folds into something that can be read like a traditional book or it can be folded out to use for tummy time. Both the front and back of the book has images of farm animals. It also includes a mirror for some self-admiration!
What I loved: This is definitely a hit with my baby! The colors are fantastic and the images are simple. The farm animal faces seem to be the biggest pull, with just the faces and names of the animals on the page, which also aids in early word recognition. The book element also works well though, with each inviting children to say hello to a particular animal on the farm and giving the animal noises. This is simple and highly colorful with illustrations that work well for little readers. It is reasonably sturdy with a board book type material that stands up well for children to look at during tummy time. I appreciated the two-sided panels that give some variety as well.
Final verdict: TUMMY TIME: FARM is a charming fold-out board book that will work well for infants and young toddlers.
