While I didn't like the first book much, Meg Cabot brings her magic to this one! Pierce and John's attraction to one another comes into play right away. This book follows Pierce trying to save her cousin Alex from being trapped in a coffin. Things are learned about the Furies, John's past, and Pierce's new role as Queen of the underworld.
