I was drawn to this book because of the musical theme and it wasn’t disappointing. Who’s that girl is a perfect, light summer read for contemporary fiction fans.
I loved Nattie’s quirky goofball personality because I can really identify with her awkwardness. The idea of having a famous hit song written about me would send me into similar, spectacularly awkward moments as well so I really felt for her.
I loved almost everything about this book with its wonderful cast of characters and their relationships with each other. A very entertaining read, however it did feel a bit too long for this kind of contemporary rom-com fiction.
I recommend this as a perfect, clean read for young teens ages 13 and up as well as adult fans of YA Contemporary Fiction.
