Sometimes, a special girl hears a call and is magicked from her everyday life to be transformed into a dragon and go on a quest in another world. Zora has been to the other land before, and she and her cousins couldn't be more excited to once again aid their magical dragon and forest friends on an important mission.
Wow, so many things to love. First off, as a portal fantasy (where Zora leaves then returns to the real world after the adventure is done), it's so fun that the dragon girls have multiple adventures. Just because this one story is done doesn't mean that they won't be summoned again. And then there's the shapeshifting - what's better than having a dragon? Becoming the dragon of course! With magical powers and cute questies companions (foresty-magical critters that always have a kind word and a smile), this book is straight out of every little girl's daydreams. Great for young readers just getting in to chapter books.
This book concludes the 3-book Storm Dragon arc, but can be read as standalone.
