Starting over in New York City, intent on finding a new life at college, Jess is less than happy when Rob Wilkins, her ex, shows up unexpectedly at the door of apartment Jess is sharing with her best friend Ruth.


But how can Jess, her powers gone, find anyonelet alone the sister of a man she once loved (and believedhowever erroneouslyloved her back)when she cant even find herself?


This is the fifth and final book in Cabot's 1-800-Where-R-You series. I've only read this book once before and I cried. I was excellent. It ended in the only way I would have thought. When I read it again I noticed a bunch of other things. Like how Cabot writes, blank blank blank. blank blank, I mean. She says this a lot in the book but I don't really care. The book is the perfect ending to Cabot's best series. Jessica Mastriani and Rob Wilkins relationship is a great touch. Jess' personality is superb. I just really love this book and the series, also. Great job done Ms. Cabot.

In Meg Cabot's finale to the every popular 1-800 series, the reader finds the book takes place a few years after number 4 left off.

Many events have now happened. Jessica, with her superability to be able to find missing people, was recruited to work with the government, to find missing terrorists. The work has burnt her our.

In this book, the heroine is now powerless, studying in college and also boyfriendless.

However when her ex, Rob, shows up begging her to find his sister for her, things start changing for Jess. And for once, for the better.

This charming conclusion to the series ties up all the loose ends as well as satisfying the reader throughly.

Before Meg Cabot became the big deal she is today, she penned two little known series under the name Jenny Carroll. One was this series, 1-800-Where-R-U, which is probably one of my favourite of all time. They are small but they pack punch. Probably the best thing to come out of Meg Cabot, in my opinion.


Missing You is the conclusion of the series. It's the fifth book and it's not a disappointment. We get to glimpse Jess a few years into the future. She's graduate High School and has taken her gift abraod to help with the War on Terror. Now she's back in the USA, studying music at Julliard, and she's exhausted herself and her ability. In comes Rob, the ex who stole her heart, and ours, in the first four books. His little sister is missing and he needs Jess to find her.

I loved this book. It was tough to let this series go, though it will forever live on for me as I will continue to read it over and over. It provided a satisfying conclusion to the series and left me with a smile on my face. I recommend this book, and its predecessors to all.

I was excitied to read this book when I saw it at my liberary a few days ago, as I hadnt realized that Cabot was going to write a new book in the where-r-u series. I thought the plot was nice, thought some of the conversations between rob and jess didnt seem very real. I would have to say that the best part of the book in my opinion was when jess saw karen sue again and blew her off. Karen sue always kind of annoyed me =). The ending was happy which is good because i just cant stand a depressing ending. all in all, i would say that this book is good apart for some seemingly fake dialouge

The 1-800-Where-Are-You series is, in my opinion, one of the best Meg Cabot series. In "Missing You", the first book in the series, main character Jess is hit by lightning. Later, she discovers that the lightning has given her an ability to find people in her sleep after looking at that person's picture. Jess initially uses this new talent to help find missing children, but the FBI finds out about her, and tries to use her ability for other purposes. Jess must make a decision- does she want to help the government with this new ability? This was a fantastic series, with romance, family drama, excitement, and supernatural elements. I would recommend it to anyone ages 10+.

The book was well written, but the plot and and story left much to be desired in this last book in the 1-800-where-r-u series. the other books in this series outshined this one hands down; Missing You just seemed like its entire purpose was to put an end to what was an amazing series.

So this is the end of 1-800-Where-R-U and it's filled with action and adventure. Jess has definitely changed over the years and she's moved out of her hometown and has lost her gift. She's been helping out in the Middle East and the stress made her break down. Life is more normal for her except for the occasional nightmare. Every thing changes when Rob tracks her down and asks her to help him in his search for his sister. Jess swears she no longer has the power but when she goes back to her hometown, her memories are brought back and she gets tangled in a dangerous situation.

Jessica along with Rob and everyone else is back for the last installment of 1-800-Where-R-You. I have to say I had been expecting this book for a while now. I have to say that this was a good book that had a lot of things that I didn't expect. Like who knew Rob had a sister. Well half sister that started the hole mess and who I didn't like part of the book because she made Jess feel bad. But I think readers will like her because she is the reason why they saw each other again after a few months apart. As usual trying to find a missing person. Jessica finds out who she really wants to be and who she wants to be with for the rest of her life, hint hint. Their another surprise with Jessicas best friend and brother. That I will not say what happens between them so that you can be surprised as I was. Well if you love the series and haven't read the last one, make sure to get it. I think that you will like it as much as I did.

Jess Mastriani is once again back for her work but she has realised all her powers have gone. mastriani starts training in musical academy and plays flute daily. Luckilly, her bestfriend Ruth is with her as well as unluckily Ruth's brother who has a crush on jess.Now comes this guy Rob you know whom i am talking about if you have read the earlier series. This time Rob's sister missing and he has hopes that only jess can find his sister. Want to know more hang on with this book and keep reading untill you can stop.

Jess is living with Ruth in New York. Her powers are agone and she never thought she'd ever see Rob gain. Its quite a shock when he turns up and asks her to find his sister! I believe that this one is the best of the series, but I missed the mystery angle that was in some of the other books.
