OK so by now you know she has been struck by lightning, and lied to the FEDs about loosing her powers, or maybe the world, to except for her best friend Ruth. Jess and Ruth go to band camp as counsellers and thought it would be a blast. But when your kids won't go to sleep and Jess tells her boys about scray stories, and it goes to far. When one of her boys goes missing, they refer to her as the lightning girl to find him, as well when a ex-husband comes and asks her to find his little girl, and when Jess brings her back to his father, the Step-father wants her...dead.
