Inside you'll find an exclusive "Who's Your Soul Mate Quiz" and a sneak peak at the third book, Girls in Pants.

With a bit of last summer's sand in the pockets, the Traveling Pants and the Sisterhood that wears them embark on their 16th summer.

Bridget: Impulsively sets off for Alabama, wanting to both confront her demons about her family and avoid them all at once.

Lena: Spends a blissful week with Kostos, making the unexplainable silence that follows his visit even more painful.

Carmen: Is concerned that her mother is making a fool of herself over a man. When she discovers that her mother borrowed the Pants to wear on a date, she's certain of it.

Tibby: Not about to spend another summer working at Wallman's, she takes a film course only to find it's what happens off-camera that teaches her the most.

The girls are back for another summer with the pants that started it all.  The girls are known as the Septembers because they were all born in that month.  At the beginning of the summer, before they take off, the girls meet back at Gilda's Aerobics Studio, where their moms met.  Lena goes back to Greece for her bapi's funeral just after getting a job at Basia's.  Her yaya moves to the United States.  Carmen's mom starts dating.  Bridget goes to her grandma's home in Alabama to confront her demons and fears, and learns more about her mom.  Tibby goes to Williamston for a summer film camp.

In this second book of the sisterhood the girls continue to grow, as well as use their pants to help them out. Lena finds that she really loves Kosto's when he comes back to visit her, Bee visits her Grandmother whom she had just found out that she had been sending notes to her for years, and Carmen and Tibby also have some nice adventures. I really liked reading this book! Perfect for "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" lovers!

In the second book of the series, we are reunited with Bee, Carmen, Lena and Tibby. Bee heads to Alabama to find the only family she seems to have left, Carmen fumbles with love and tries to keep her mother's budding love from happening, Tibby realizes that the 'cool' kids are really posers and her pal Brian is really the worthwhile one, and Lena re-encounters Kostos after breaking up with him.

This book gets a sort of slow start - didn't hold me as much as the first book until about halfway through. Tibby and Carmen's stories seemed to be lacking - they seemed to be struggling with the same issues as the first book and it annoyed me to have them reinvented in a not-so-disguised way. I really liked Bee finding herself, her mother and her grandmother while .... well, not being herself. I felt she grew a lot and I loved it. Lena also let herself go more and got into a heap of unwanted....drama I guess. I liked that the mothers played a role - we got disagreements and a background of their lives a bit. Once you get into it, it is like reuniting with friends. I like that like the pants, we get reunited with the girls and see them each summer on their adventures. This book isn't one to pass up if you enjoyed the first.

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood. What can I say? I loved the first book, but the second is even juicier, with more plots that'll keep you reading page after page. Bridget, Carmen, Tibby, and Lenas stories are my favorite. Iread this book over and over again. I love it and I recommend it to anybody who likes stories of friendship, family, the heat of summer, and falling in and out of love.

This one is better than the first sisterhood book! The 3rd one is also very good. It shows the love once again between carmen, bridget, tibby, and lena. They help each other through their time of need. Each sister finds more new things about themselves and each other. A great read.

i love the author of The Second Summer of the Sisterhood! it was amazing!

The sisterhood of the traveling pants are back!!! Tibby finally goes off to a film school,Carmen stays home with her mother, who by the way has a boyfriend that of course Carmen doesnt like. Lena is also staying home this summer. Only since her brake up with Kostos she still cant get over him and when he comes to visit she knows she still loves him...but she might just get her heart broken AGAIN! And Bridget sets out to find her grandmother that she hasnt seen since she was a little kid.

This book was great! If you have allready read the first book i encourage you to read
"The Second Summer of the Sisterhood"!

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood is well about the next summer that the girls encounter apart. While, not everyone is away Bridget and Tibby are. Each girls learns something new in the sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. The knowledge gained includes looking past apperance, family history, heartbreak, mother-daughter relationships. I actually liked this book just as more if not better than the first. The lessons in this book are deeper and each character grows so much, becoming a better person. If you read the first book and liked it then you have to read this one.
