Have you ever wanted to go on an adventure in a big city? It might not be as flashy and easy as you think! A celebritys life may have just as many troubles as you do!

Fresh out of high school, friends Abby and Jamie want to leave their small (and rather boring) town of Shafton in Ohio. Most kids that leave the high school in Shafton dont get great jobs, and those who are planning to go to college most likely end up at Shafton-Oaks. But these two girls want to get to Ohio State at least. Wanting to escape the dullness of their little town, Abby and Jamie seek jobs in the exciting city of New York. When they get hooked up with nanny jobs, the two girls are ready for a summer adventure!

Abby gets the job of being the nanny for Dylan, the son of a busy book publisher in New York. Instead of being a lovely, well-behaved child, Dylan is a spoiled, naughty little boy. Dylans mother, Lila, has a busy schedule, so its up to Abby to take care of Dylan and to help him deal with DC, a bully that plays at the same park Abby takes Dylan to. But Dylan isnt the only person she meets in New Yorkshe meets many other boys her age. Simon, Garrick, and other boys are interested, but Abby feels guilty. She already has a boyfriend from OhioEthan. But is Ethan as loyal and innocent as Abby? There are darker secrets about the boys that Abby is friends withcan she deal with all of them when she uncovers the secrets?

With a slight adjustment to the original plan, Jamie ends up working for a rich family in California. She takes care of Olivia, the daughter of wealthy and famous Nicole and Tropher. Olivia is quiet and rather spoiledand does not have many true friends. Jamie wants to help Olivia overcome her problems as well as making new friends. Jamie does not want Olivia to turn into someone like Tara, Olivias snobby older sister. Tara seems like a stuck up, wealthy teen that is out to stir up trouble for Jamie, but things are not always what they seem to be. Jamie learns that there is more than meets the eye. She meets other boys during her summer nanny jobbut which one is right for her? Hot n gorgeous Chase? Or dark and mysterious Tripp?

Abby and Jamie have their hands full with Dylan and Olivia but with boys, alcohol, and other things to deal with, theyre in for one wild summer! The summer is full of lessons on love, truth, and responsibility for the girls. But ultimately, they learn more about themselves, as well as each other. Even when the girls are such a great distance apart and have numerous problems to deal with, will they have each others backs? And can they remain friends? After this summer, the girls lives are changed forever!

This was a neat bookI liked how the perspective switched back and forth from Abby to Jamie and back! Abby and Jamie are two unique girls and their summer adventure is quite realistic and fun to read! Oh Baby! is a cute book thats filled with friendship, joy, lust, romance and adventure!

Although this was an enjoyable read, I would recommend it only to older kids, seeing that this book has a lot mature content. Abby and Jamie have problems dealing with things (or sometimes thoughts) from doing it to other sensual topics, as well as some strong language, so it would be better if only older teenagers read this book.

The is a great book for young readers. Because of going back and forth every chapter, it keeps the book interesting. You will get so caught up in one chapter about one of the main characters, that you will keep reading until you do find out, but then you get so into the other character's story! Its an excellent book and I highly recommend it!

if you want a break from reality and just want to hang and read a book this is the book for u!
the authors have written this book in a way that even someone on the other side of the world to america can actually picture New York or LA. u can relate to the awesome charecters even if you aren't there age. this book let me relax and laugh at the mistakes Abbie and Jamie make. i think that if they existed u would want these girls to be your best friends!!

Before heading off for college, sixteen-year-old small town girls Abby and Jamie are headed for the big cities! Shy, innocent Abby will be a nanny for a posh New York City family, while smart, no-nonsense Jamie works her nanny gig in sunny, celeb-studded L.A. Talk about culture shock. And, between the eye-popping parties, hot boys, high-maintenance kids, and a heaping of drama, the girls can barely squeeze in time for e-mail catch-ups. But their wild summers on opposite coasts will teach Abby and Jamie things they never knew about love, lust, truth, lies, themselves . . . and each other.
