I do admit I guiltily enjoyed this book. I really became Lucy while
reading this book, insecure, life full of changes. I gotta say though,
things aren't as bad as she makes her life out to be. I love the
language of this book - the very British slang especially.

If you want a quick, fun read - read this.

This is my favorite book in the series because it introduces Lucy and gives you the background you need for the whole series. The book starts out with a school project of finding out what you want to do when you get older. It seems like everyone has a plan--except Lucy. She takes quizzes to determine what she'd be good at, but still can't find anything. She keeps hearing there; no rush, yet everyone around her seems to know.

To make this harder for her, her best friend Izzie has brought a new girl, Nesta, into their group and Lucy feels left out. Things get worse when Lucy can't get into a movie for older teens and they two other girls go the next day without her. Lucy also finds out her dream crush is Nesta's brother.

In the end, Lucy finds some old clothes that she enjoys putting together to make new outfits. It doesn't occur to her that something she enjoys could be her future career. And she also learns that Nesta is a good friend and not trying to steal Izzie away.

This book is one of the only books that I have read that I feel can actually happen. Its about two true blue best friends Lucy and Izzie living it up on the outskirts of London in middle school. Izzie meets this new girl Nesta and feels bad for her because people are teasing her and she has no friends. Lucy begins to feel jelous because she feels that Nesta is stealing Izzie away from her, of course the fact that Nesta is gorgeous does not help. Lucy slowly begins to realize that Nesta is really nice. One day while the girls are out, Lucy sees this incredible guy. He is very handsome and about two years older than her. The three girls spend all week looking for him, just going on Lucy's description of him. Lucy finally sees him with Nesta one day. She thinks that he's Nesta's boyfriend. Lucy and Nesta get into a huge fight and put Izzie in the middle.

They slowly begin to become friends again when Lucy realizes that Tony (the boy) is Nesta's older brother. Another crisis emerges, Lucy thinks that she is too flat and does not know what to do. Izzie and Nesta buy Lucy and inflatable bra as a joke and are rewarded by Lucy's sudden inspiration for fashion design in two new tops.

I love this book and consider it on my Top Ten List. My friends and I have gone through similiar issues and I feel that I can really relate to the girls. A must read for any teenage girl.

this series is edicting. Each book is hilariouse making you laugh about the strangest things. This book is in the perspective of Lucy the second is by her freind Izee the next is Nesta and the fourth introduces a new character named t.j. I hope you enjoy the book I garentee youll like this series if you like romance, humor and great characters.

this book was really good. it is about a girl named Lucy and her friend named Izzy. Lucy's parents are hippie type people and she has a turquoise beetle. it doesn't help that she looks like she is twelve when she is really fourteen. one day izzy meets a new friend named nesta. she is supposedly very pretty and she and izzy start doing things that can't require lucy. this is because izzy and nesta both go to a movie that only 16 yeae olds can go and they can pass for 16 but Lucy cannot. suddenly on the way to Izzy's house Lucy sees the perfect boy and wants to get to know him. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that he is Nesta's brother. Read this book to find out what happens.
