By night, Nicoles life is filled with adventure. Through her dreams she follows the life of Ellon, a powerful, yet fallen, sorcerer who must gain his powers back before the world is thrown out of balance. But by day, Nicoles life is boring. University student and part-time secretary, she would much rather be working on her story of Ellons adventures. But when she runs into Josh, an old neighbor, the boy falls hard for this timid girl. Josh is a known heartbreaker, but he cant seem to snap Nicole out of her daydreams long enough to tell her how he feels. Will Josh be able to catch Nicoles attention, or will he be stuck on the outside of her dreams forever?

Nicoles character really spoke to me, mostly because I see a lot of myself in her. I prefer spend my time escaping reality by reading, instead of writing. This would seem like the run of the mill boy-meets-girl romance, but the story felt like so much more than that. Although the plot itself lagged in the middle, the occasional comedic situation was enough to keep me going. Nicoles stories of Ellon are seamlessly added into the storyline, and I found myself equally engaged in both plots. The art also has a unique style to it, which made for a refreshing change. Great for romantic fans, or even those readers just looking for a laugh.
