A startling, remarkable poetry memoir of love and pain, hurt and recovery.

For three years, Eireann Corrigan was in and out of treatment facilities for her eating disorders. By the time she graduated high school, her doctors said she was going to die if things didn't change. That July, her high school boyfriend attempted suicide. In one gunshot moment, everything was altered.
In a striking and vivid voice, Eireann Corrigan recounts these events, finding meaning in the hurt, humor in the horror, and grace in the struggle that life demands. You Remind Me of You is a testament to the binding ties of love and pain, and the strange paths we take to recovery.

This is a very good book. it's one of the best poetry I've ever read. It displays peoples feelings. The author actually knows how people feel in the real life. For three years, the author (Eireann Corrigan) had treatment and had eating disorders. Her life was really hard and she couldn't eat things as other people could. Her doctors told her she was going die is things didn't change. When her boyfriend found out, he committed suicide. It was so much harder for Eireann to live her life now. First she has eating disorders, and now her boyfriend is dead. Everything changed then. This book/poetry memoir shows the tears of love and pain.

Even though Eirean was actually really weak, I found her to be one of the strongest people I have ever heard of. There is really nothing to say except: read this book because it is amazing!
