Everything You Need to Ace Algebra 2 in One Big Fat Notebook

This study guide reads just like a student notebook, with color-coded descriptions, step-by-step examples, and explanations of key concepts presented on familiar lined/graphed paper. The subject is broken into topical units, including a review of algebra fundamentals, graphing functions, quadratics, polynomials, exponentials, trigonometry, and more.

Graphing is a key component of Algebra II and this guide is full of visuals to support those concepts. The graphs mimic a hand drawn style, making for easy readability and copying. Most do incorporate color-coding, with reds, blues, and greens marking different features, but the graphs also use labels and line styles (dashed, etc) to indicate distinctions, so one does not have to rely on color to understand.

A common concern with math materials is that parents are encountering new methods in their kids' notes that seem to be unnecessarily convoluted, but for this book that is not the case. All the classic function forms and variables are just as I was taught (maybe advanced algebra is just safe from those sorts of things?).

Exercises are also included, but you'll want to have scratch paper on hand to get them done. Unlike the supplementary workbook (sold separately), there is little space given for solving the problems.
