Shattered
40 Hours? That is going to take forever Yup, a fifteen year old slacker names Ian Blackburn who must have 40 hours in order to pass his Civics Class. Will he make it? As he makes a friend names Mac, who helps his work at The Club! Sounds Fun eh? However, it wasnt! As he arrives at what turns out to be a soup kitchen for homeless people! As Ian assumes that this is the worst, horrible, polluted job he could ever do in his life. In order to confirm that, he almost got mugged!
Over there, as he starts up, he makes his best friend named Sarge, who saved him form getting mugged! He was a peacemaker from Rwanda. As Sarge starts to help him, Ian starts to learn about the world, how life works, how families work, when Ian isnt even prepared! Will Ian change the way he thinks? Or will he be a slacker and fail his Civics Class?
Shattered truly is a page turner! I didnt even want to blink my eyes, because it will bring tears in! The way Eric Walter writes is Phenomenal! Its a book with a perfect lesson. The ending literally took by breath away. It makes you seem alive on the dirty roads filled with garbage. If you want to experience the journey, then come along because it will shatter you!

A jockey dies, a mysterious tape is revealed. This is a story about a glass blower(of all things! That just makes the story that more interesting, though) who is passed along a tape by his just dead jockey friend Martin. He gets mugged, beat up, house vandalized, and eventually installs bodyguards all because of this one tape. But maybe it's two tapes...either way, people are out to get him that will threaten his whole lifestyle. This book includes narrow escapes, backstabbing ex-friends, and a tape that could change the world forever.
