This book is full of secrets. Jason has known for a little bit that Malibu has some families of high vampires. He is now trying to have a normal Thanksgiving when his friend Tyler shows up for an unexpected visit. Tyler is not acting like himself and Jason suspects drug use and trouble. Malibu's Devere Heights celebs have a wild party at Zach's house. A missing family heirlom is stolen at this party and the book is about trying to figure out who did it. Punish them and get the very important heirlom back without getting hurt by the vampire families in the process.Amazing read for teens

The second book was equally good as its predecessor. The plot was much more interesting than the first and it was faster than the other one. You see Jason's character grow a little bit and he finds out another secret involving the vampires. Alex Duval sure writes and interesting and great series. The vampires are different than what you may be used to but it's a really great book. Check out the third book in the series Ritual by Alex Duval.
