A surprise on every page!

Brimming from cover to cover with projects and other paper surprises, The Kids’ Book of Paper Love, from the bestselling editors of Flow magazine and books, is a bounty of a book that begs to be folded, cut up, collaged, doodled on, and shared.

Loop paper strips into a paper chain. Snip out bookmarks. Fold a paper house. Make photo booth props—a silly mustache, a crown—to pose with friends. Bind up a DIY storybook and use it to sketch out adventures and dreams. Construct a paper flower bouquet, a paper terrarium, a fortune-teller with prompts like Lend someone a book and tell them why you recommend it.

Plus there are Flow’s signature paper goodies, including a foldout paper banner, postcards, glitter stickers, a paper doll, a two-sided poster, and so much more. It’s a pure hands-on treat.

Every page is an activity! Includes:

  • Decorative cutouts
  • Cards for friends
  • A DIY storybook

  • Photo booth props
  • …and more!

THE KID'S BOOK OF PAPER LOVE is a perfect summer activity to simulate children's mind and to encourage them to enhance their writing skills. It's broken up into four different sections. The first part is WRITE and here children get the opportunity to write letters, create their on mini book, and mini cards. It even comes with bookmarks for them to cut out too. The second section is CRAFT and this section contains different cut-outs and paper inspired activities for children to complete, such as ornaments, frames, secret boxes, inspiring notes, and pencil toppers. The third section is PLAY and it has activities to entertain children, such as a fortune teller, look and finds, Photo Booth props, and even some stickers. The final section is SHARE which is full of activities that are either made to be done with a friend, or to share your results of them.

I love how each section opens with an explanation of what to expect along with a visual guide so children can decide which section they feel like delving into that day. The pictures are cutesy and simplistic throughout the book. The format is made to inspire the artistic side within children and there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Final verdict: Overall, this is the perfect book for children aged six and older to enjoy hundreds of screen-free activities. It's perfect for the summer break because not only is it enough to keep them occupied for days, it's also a great way to stimulate a child's mind. This would be fun for children who aren't all that artsy too and may inspire them to learn ne thing about themselves.
