"A Break with Charity" is spellbinding, I didn't want to put it down. Susanna English wants to be accepted by a group of girls but when they begin to accuse people of being witches Susanna has to choose between being accepted and the ability to save her family or try and stop them to save others at the risk of losing her family. Ann Rinaldi uses both fictional and real characters to bring the Salem Witch Trials to life. Rinaldi makes history fun and interesting. This book is one of the best written historical fiction I've read in a while.
